In my new school (OHVA) I have two friends who are in my geometry class with me. Robyn and Eddie. They're both pretty awesome. :]

I met Robyn at a Wendy's once but neither of us had ever met Eddie. All three of us chat all the time though, so yesterday Robyn invited me to go to the mall with her. I hung out at her house for a while and then we went. And we both got to meet Eddie there :] And he brought a friend too.

It was awkward at first, lol. We didn't know what to do or where to go but eventually we just started walking around. It was a lot of fun. We mostly just walked around being dorks the whole time xD We crammed three of us in a photo booth, that was interesting xD Id never been in one before so it was a first for me :P but it was awesome.
We were there for a while but unfortunately, it started getting late and we all had to go. D:
But I had a great time and hope we can all hang out again some time :] I don't usually get to hang out with other kids like that so it was really fun to get to do that.
My birthday is coming up in a couple months... maybe i can scheme something up ;D

i wasnt going to do this. i was tempted and then i decided not to
but my mom wants to know my Christmas list.
and whoever she is talking on the phone to... probably my grandma. hi grandma. :]
my mom said if i dont make a list i wont get anything... im only human :] and if everyone gets something but me, i will be... upset. and i might cry. but you never know.

i hate Christmas lists. :D
partly because my REAL list consists of:

a macro lens
a wide angle lens
guitar hero world tour <3
photography equipment (lights, backdrops, etc)
an mp3 player (which i blogged about previously)
lessons of some sort (piano, dance, etc)

and all of that is way too expensive and I'll never get it unless i somehow manage to get a job and save up $230948230948 to pay for it all myself. which i came to accept a long time ago. thats fine. but i dont know what to ask for when people ask me what i want...

so... this is my attempt at a revised list.

Once Upon A Time

Its probably not very well written, the plot is lame and cliche, xD
The characters are probably underdeveloped and its just a draft.
But I just started randomly writing something on November 1st and just kept at it until I had reached the goal of 50,000 words.
It was loosely based off of traditional fairy tales/folk tales or whatever. loosely.
At the end I got a little desperate for words and had to change the originally planned ending completely.
Some of the characters are VERY loosely based on people I know, songs, characters from books or movies, and things like that. Others I just randomly made up because I needed the words. xD

So yeah, I guess I'm just saying, I don't want you to think I went insane last month. Don't think I'm a modern day Cinderella or that I have a horrible view on life and I'm miserable, xD This novel isn't me. Its just a work of my imagination or desperation to get to 50k, or both xD Imageration? Despination? :P Either way, yeah... lol. Its just a story :]
Now that I got that out of the way, read it and let me know what you think ^_^ I can handle it, lol

I wrote a novel this month, for those of you who were not aware :P
I spent many nights up till eleven or later to reach my word goal of the day. Last week i was really behind and about ready to give up, but i didn't. The end goal was 50,000 words and i made it tonight at about 10:30. ive finished my first novel :]
It might not be very good, but now i have to go back and edit all the typos and stuff. then i'll see who wants to read it and email it out to people...
It was fun. maybe almost completely pointless but it was fun.

Now i have to turn my "inner editor" back on and start caring when i make grammatical mistakes and spell words wrong until next year xD

Family Force 5 released their new video today. Radiator is a single off their newest album titled Dance or Die which I still havent managed to get my hands on for some reason xD
But I love FF5 and I love this song so here's the video :D

They also just posted a contest like five minutes ago to win a custom jacket like the lead singer - Soul Glow Activator xD - wears in the video. There will be six chances for everyone to enter and you have to answer a trivia question once a day about the video. So I'm entering fershur xD

Today I got my ears pierced :D
Again. lol

It was funny, I was sitting on the chair by the door in Claire's and this one lady who had been shopping goes to leave and she said "ohh, who's getting their ears pierced?" I kinda laughed and said that I was. She pointed out that it looked like they were already pierced and I said that yeah I was getting my second one. Then she said "Ohh you go girl with your bad self." xD It was pretty funny.

The lady who did my ears was really nice. She was amazed that I was fine with doing them one at a time. She had to check like five times to make sure I was okay with it. It didnt even hurt that much, lol. Then I heard her telling the other employee "She said she was fine if i did it one at a time!" so i guess it was kind of a big deal xD

Some really cute stars, skulls (of course, I couldnt pass THOSE up, lol), some plain ones and then some ninety-nine cent halloween ones that were obviously on sale xD I might not wear the spiders so much but you never know xD

turns out with shipping, to preorder fall out boy's new cd, it would be about $20. just for a cd and a wrist band. :[
i KNEW this was going to happen because shipping is always a beast.
so guess im out of the running for the golden ticket. fail. lol.

Yesterday I had an orthodontist appointment. Last month I got my expander off and I was SO excited I forgot to blog about it :D However yesterday I got some new bands on that connect most of my teeth together AND i got two packages of rubber bands because i need to center my top teeth a little bit. So i have this rubber band attaching my top teeth to my bottom teeth on the right side of my mouth. its a lot of fun. Yesterday was great, i was really excited because my orthodontist said that after i was done with the rubber band they would be finishing up. I am almost done with braces. :D Its been about nine or ten months since I got them on but over two years since the whole process started. Almost two and a half years. it certainly doesnt feel that long, thats for sure. I can't wait to see how great my teeth look without all the metal and rubber in the way xDand these are my rubber bands. Made by Mercedes, go figure xD my dad said its the only Mercedes I'll ever own xD



In other news, I am participating in National Novel Writing Month. You may have noticed the box in the sidebar pimping their website and keeping track of my word count. For those who have no idea what Nanowrimo is, i'll explain xD Nanowrimo is a national event where people all over the country write a novel in the month of November. The goal is to get to 50,000 words by the end of the month. No editting, no perfecting, no worrying about quality. Its to get you to write more than you may have on your own and to hopefully reach the goal and finish your novel. So far I have a little over 17,000 words but I'm behind :[ To read more about it you can click on the picture or the widget on my sidebar.
The coolest thing is that in December, everyone who reaches 50,000 words will have the opportunity to have a copy of their book published and mailed to them after the editting process. That sounds pretty freaking sweet to me. ;]

Today I attended an online college fair. It was really confusing at first but I got the hang of it. Basically it was kind of pointless to me since I already know what I want to major in, I just need the school. But they did have some quite informative live videos about the ACTs and SATs, and financial aid and stuff like that. It was kind overwhelming to think about. In two years (hopefully? lol) I'll be getting ready to graduate. I just have to find a good art/photography school in Ohio somewhere. I dont think I want to go out of state but thats apparently where most of the cool art schools are...

(WHY THE FUDGE IS THIS SO GOSHDARNED HUGE?!?!)

Moving right along... Fall Out Boy is releasing their new album titled Folie a Deux, december 16th. Pete Wentz, being the emo genius he is, has hidden five golden tickets in the pre-order cds. Yesterday he revealed the prize for one of the tickets is a hoodie, theres only one hoodie like this in existence apparently, from the music video for their single I would assume. He posted the thing about the hoodie with the video so I THINK that must be where its from. But I don't know. I'm preordering my cd tommorow. :]



Speaking of music I found some freaking awesome new bands thanks to my dad who introduced me to RadioU, an apparently Christian rock/occasional rap station located in Westerville, Ohio. I might have to do a post about some bands later but for right now I especially recomend Krystal Meyers, The Classic Crime and Fireflight.



Speaking bands and music xD I found the most awesome mp3 player. Its a Sony because I love my sony walkman so much. However it no longer holds enough music :P I found out that these days I can get an 8gig mp3 player that also plays video for $110. Mine cost $100, oh and its 2gig and doesnt play video or anything like that, lol. So this thing is next on my to-buy list. After I give my mom the $12 for the FOB album. xD And for some reason I want to spend the extra $5 and get some iPod earbuds off amazon just because i think they look cool xD But I dont want to spend the extra money for the iPod, lol. plus, mine is cooler anyways x3
I also think it would be smart to invest in one of the spiffy cases they sell. with my luck the screen would get broken.

SPEAKING OF SPENDING MONEY, I found out I can get my camera cleaned at a nearby camera store for only $30. That sounds good to me. xD So i can sit back and relax and when I have an extra $30 hanging around I'll get that done...

One more thing, I promise.
I started fund raising for Higher Things already. I decided to take charge this time and say "hey we have to get fund raising now" since last year we almost didnt have enough. This year we have double the kids going including me (which equals four kids, lol) so we have to do more fund raising but with our early start I think we can get it covered. Right now Im selling candy bars - most of which probably got sold to my family xD - and another family did some work for our pastor. We're going to do a bake sale at the end of the month and do a christmas craft/cookie sale next month. (Can you believe its almost Christmas already?!)

So yeah, Im uber excited for this years Higher Things. Theres at least four people going that I really really want to meet and I cant wait :] JULY HERE I COME. lol.

Okay I lied, I have one more thing.
I think I want to get my ears pierced again xD
okay im done, for real. honest.

except we got a new furnace. its really nice not stepping out of the bathroom out of a shower and getting hypothermia xD
