American Idol: Sanjaya Malakar

Everyone is dissin' on 17 year old Sanjaya Malakar these days. Except for the girls who think he's cute.
His first audition was really good. If I remember correctly he sang "Signed, Sealed, Delivered" by that one guy... :P And he was REALLY good. Better than his sister. He was a shy kid with barely any self-confidence.


Then he managed to get to the top 12, then the top 10. And suddenly, he wasn't good anymore. The ponyhawk was rather stunning in a weird way and he just isn't giving everything he can these days.


It's good he's trying to be different and not caring what people think about the way he looks but he needs to either step it up, or get ready to go home soon.
It might even be too late to step it up. But he's taking up space. If he's not gonna give everything he can then he needs to let somebody else who will, take his place.
I'm sure he's a nice kid, but he's not the one for this competition.
