The concert was awesome, had a great time.
I liked seeing the different ways people dressed up for concerts, it was funny.
Some people wore normal stuff, others wore some freaky stuff
there were several stupid girls falling out of their shirts in the freezing cold.
I put blue streaks in my hair and it looked kinda neat :) they washed out though.
I was pleased to see several Volcom items though....
So Monday i was listening to one of the bands that performed, online and i decided i was going to buy their cd.
(The band's name is The Academy Is... and the album name is Santi, which is a word they made up i guess meaning something along the lines of "Thank you" or "Cheers")
I think its a good cd, i like it :)
Of course now, between the $25 shirt and the $15 cd... i have no money...
And I've been thinking... I wish there was a way you could pay the BANDS the money you spend on their cds, and not the record company or whatever. Because thats just not fair.
But anyways...
My friend went home on Wednesday and there has been no more excitement :P
Which is good this time because i need a little break.
Glenn the Funny Song Man said he'd try and get his DJ friend to get me an autograph from Blake Lewis but Glenn is in Mexico with his wife celebrating their anniversary so I wont know if he got it or not until after the 29th....

There is a way to pay the bands te money for their cd. If you buy it off the website or at a show it all goes to them.
So if you bought that stuff at a show, all the money goes to the bands.
Record companies get money from other places. Like if someone wants to use FOB in a commercial, then FOB has the choice, but they get payed and the record company gets some of that money.
In lots of cases it works that way, but not all the time. But do you get what I'm saying?
well i bought the shirt at a show, not the cd though.
i bought the cd at Circuit City though so...
