Today at the orthodontist I got my spacers put in.
which are basically itsy bitsy rubber bands.
And she jabbed them in there with the Prongs of Pain and Suffering +.5
But they match my t-shirt!
When we first walked in the door, there was a girl screaming about how "it hurts! it hurts!"
so... yeah... that was pleasant.
Afterwards the dentist asked me if i had any questions
Uh, am i going to be screaming in agony when i get my braces on?
I didnt really ask that.......
But...
so i cant eat anything chewy and its annoying because i dont like having stuff stuck in my teeth.
next week i get bands put on and get my mouth molded AGAIN (YAY!- not) and then they will make my exanders....
And after the girl screaming bloody murder I'm a little nervous about the braces part.
my mom says we should get stock in advil. I informed her that was not funny. :P

but the kid screaming was just too funny!!! lol And for you the fun is just beginning....later you will hear daddy screaming in agony when he sees the bill.....
Emily, it's not that bad really. I only had to take advil twice I think. The first 3 or 4 days are a little rough, and when you get adjusted it's sore for a day or two. It's learning to talk with that expander! And then when you get it off your tongue has soooo much room! And you don't drool as much either.
