"Is That Your Son?"

Every day between 9-9:30 my dad and I head upstairs and get coffee/hot chocolate.
We were waiting for the elevator with another guy and he was talking to my dad and I was looking down at my cup of hot chocolate. Finally the guy says
"Is that your son?" and I grinned and started laughing as I looked up at him and he's like
"Oh! Daughter! I'm sorry! Just the way you were looking down, i thought..."

It was funny...

Twinkies in the vending machine today...
Twinkies... or oreos.

Twinkies. or Oreos.

EDIT:

That guy just called my dad, five minutes after I posted this :P
He said he is very very very sorry.

This is not a comment to this post, but I didn’t notice a link to your email address. I just have to ask; What on earth is "lonliness"?. :0P

1. affected with, characterized by, or causing a depressing feeling of being alone; lonesome.
2. destitute of sympathetic or friendly companionship, support, etc.: a lonely exile.
3. lone; solitary; without company; companionless.
4. remote from places of human habitation; desolate; unfrequented; bleak: a lonely road.
5. standing apart; isolated: a lonely tower.

Man, that's so not cool to be mistaken for the opposite sex. Now what's really bad is when your own father introduces you by your sister's name.

(For the record I'm a guy).

Just goes to show that there are too many young guys out there who need haircuts. Why do they keep trying to look like girls?

I had to write this so Rick can confirm that he will know what I was thinking when I read it :-)
