Title: Because I Said So
Genre: Romantic Comedy
Starring: Diane Keaton, Mandy Moore, Gabriel Macht
Rating: PG-13
(not a great kids movie)
I give this movie 4.5/10 stars
A single mom has three grown daughters, two of which have gotten married, one is still struggling to find Mr. Right. The mom is overly nosey and pushy and forces a guy into said struggling daughter's life, while meanwhile Millie (the daughter) meets a charming young musician.
So she dates both of them.
This movie was very predictable. I knew the moment they introduced the scene with the musician that he was going to be the one she picked. And he of course, would be the one to find out she was dating two guys at the same time.
Of course eventually she realizes the mother's choice doesnt even like her for her and she doesnt feel like herself around him and eventually dumps him after its too late.
AND of course her and the charming musician get back together.
The mother was incredibly annoying and I wanted to go slap her myself.
It was cute though, if not incredibly, totally, and 100% cliche.
Gabriel Macht (the musician, Johnny) was my favorite character. Obviously.
