The Fabulous Fifties

Last night was a party for the volunteers at the nature center. Since Im a volunteer now (with paperwork and everything) I got invited.
The theme was "Fabulous Fifties" and let me tell you, it was pretty cool. ^_^
There was a room with a projector and a screen with tables set up inside and they were decorated like cars, there were even drive-in speakers and dice and everything.

They had hula-hooping, dance contests, a bean bag toss, malt shop, food, pez dispensers, candy! It was fun.

And, I've been inspired. x3
I want to re-do my room 50's (and maybe 60's) themed. ^_^
Bright colored walls (im thinking hot pink or bright blue), checkered carpet, old music posters and stuff on the walls. Old records hanging from the ceiling...
a life-size cardboard elvis. x3 Definitely need one of those, lol.

I need to get rid of some stuff. lol...

And I definitely need these.
