Movie Review: No Reservations

Title: No Reservations
Rating: PG-13
Genre: Romantic Comedy/Drama
Starring: Catherine Zeta-Jones, Aaron Eckhart
I give this movie nine out of ten stars

Top chef Katie has to take care of her niece Zoe after Katie's sister passes away. Katie knows absolutely nothing about children -- her life is the kitchen. But she takes a few days off from the kitchen to try and get to know her niece.

When she returns, she learns that her boss has hired on a temporary replacement - Nick. He's energetic, enthusiastic, happy and loves opera. He has fun while he cooks, which makes Katie angry because that isnt the way she does things in her kitchen. But Nick begins to redeem himself in her eyes when he hits it off with Zoe and gets her to eat and talk; things she hadn't been doing a whole lot of lately.

Katie begins to lighten up and relax and learns she can let people in.

I didnt think this movie would turn out the way it did. I wasn't exactly sure what to expect though. I don't think we've ever seen a movie about chefs before. But it was a really good movie and I really liked it. Its also a good family movie. I definitely recommend seeing it.

Have you seen the original, Mostly Martha?

Our family loved that one! The subtitles make it so you don't miss a thing.
