For the past two weeks straight I have been busy. And I enjoyed it. I'm the kind of person who likes to be busy a lot (with a couple days to recuperate in between) and who likes to do something different every day. Schedules feel so restricting sometimes, depending on the style of schedule, which is why I have trouble with them. I like to be around people with plenty of space and plenty of things to do. It helps me not be so shy, it keeps me occupied and I'm happy. And on top of that, either I lost 5-10 pounds or our scale is messed up.
But now life is going back to the same old same old and I'm starting to realize it and I'm not liking it. No matter how many times I clean the kitchen, it will always look like a tornado ran through it in an hour anyways. I used to not be so reluctant about chores but after so long of working and then suddenly all my work has disappeared and I'm back where I started, I get frustrated and unmotivated.
In the winter, for the most part, we're locked inside because its so cold out.
In the summer, we have no where to go. No money for ridiculous gas prices, no friends to walk over to visit. And I don't like feeling like I have no life. I despise that feeling. With a fiery passion.
My mom had a good idea to split the house into sections and spend one week on a section. Hopefully that'll get us somewhere.
But other than that... I'm not really sure what to do.

Blog looks cool.
Hope you have fun this summer.
I'm gonna sure try.
Can you escape reading a book while under the shade of your backyard trees?
I use to skate everywhere in the summer....I never owned a bike.
From one eldest female child to another: I completely understand your frustration about cleaning! I have been there and lived through that! I had the added bonus (or burden depending on how you look at it) of being the most organized person in my immediate family...and that included my parents! It was a marvelous day when I got my own apartment! When I cleaned and organized something, it stayed that way! Imagine that! (My folks sure did miss me when I moved out!)
Just a tiny bit of advice for the future: If you treasure your sanity...NEVER EVER MOVE IN TOGETHER WITH A SLOPPY YOUNGER SIBLING!!! Trust me on this one! ;-)
