You Rock!

For Christmas my grandparents gave my brother and I Guitar Hero World Tour, which I have been pining over ever since it came out. I LOVE Guitar Hero. I'm the self titled Guitar Hero of our house hold xD I can't do any crazy EXPERT stuff but I'm getting there ;] My pinky IS capable of reaching the orange button, thank you very much ;D Sometimes I just think it might fall off. Anyways...

Guitar Hero World Tour is even more awesome because now you can customize your own character, you can play other positions in the band (if you have the drum set or the microphone) AND you get to rock out with your favorite rock legends. The other day I played with Hayley Williams, then yesterday I played with Billy Corgan and Travis Barker. My dad played with Ozzie Osbourne. Its just AWESOME. xD

The only bad thing is you can only have one band per memory chip. Unlike previous games where everyone could have their own band. But so far, somehow we've managed to work around it, lol.

One of the reasons I think Guitar Hero is so awesome is because its one of those games where you dont have to sit there with a controler twiddling your thumbs. Those kind of games have generally started to bore me now because of all the more interactive games like Guitar Hero. You are actually playing notes to advance in your musical career and its like you're actually in a band. The game draws you in and makes you a part of it and I think thats really cool. Plus it helps with hand-eye coordination ;]

And us X-ers get to relive real rock from the 80's when guitars were more than throbbing power chord machines. Not that there's anything wrong with throbbing power chords, but what ever happened to the SOLO?

Last night I played Ozzfest in Germany. I played with Lacuna Coil and Ozzy himself on Crazy Train and Mr. Crowley. That Randy Rhodes was a master.

The night before I rocked out with the Nuge his-self. We went head to head before collaborating on "Stranglehold." I've also dueled and dueted with Zak Wilde. That was wilde...lol.

Ah the life of a rock star. And I'm still able to get up and go to work in the mornings!

I can't wait to unlock and then attempt "Pull Me Under" by Dream Theater!!!!!!
Yeowza.

Emily, Emily, Emily... that ought to be "my grandparents gave my brother and me Guitar Hero World Tour," not "my grandparents gave my brother and I Guitar Hero World Tour." I'm so disappointed in you.

Also that sounds awesome.
