That Heaven Is Overrated

Well okay, maybe not.
I thought aaaall of my eclipse pictures turned out horrible. And they did. Except for this one. I was shocked, lol. Because I can NEVER take decent pictures of the moon. But this turned out pretty good. Unfortunately my battery died so i didnt go back out later when more of the moon was red like that.

I went to the orthodontist today. I got a bigger wire on my top teeth so my teeth are a little sore. And apparently they were planning on "digging out" my adult tooth that has been hiding. Fortunately for me, it just barely started showing so they don't have to dig it out. They just have to pull the baby tooth. This adult tooth is apparently in a funny spot, almost on the roof of my mouth. My orthodontist compared fixing it to parallel parking a semi-truck. That sounds like fun. Oh and I got light blue bands today.

In venturing news, I thought we finally had a crew off the ground. Apparently not. The guy keeps encouraging me to talk to "all my friends" but I don't think he really gets it... at all. Then he had to torture me and tell me about this Venturing get-together thing in April where crews from all over get together, its Vegas themed and they have dances and games and stuff. I was writhing on the floor begging him to stop talking. lol. And he thought I was 14. That was mildly annoying.
So I might not ever get a venturing crew started. But I'm "more than welcome to join the boyscouts on their outings." Yay?

Im hungry. Again. So i'm gonna go get some soup or something...

Updates

A while ago I mentioned wanting to join a Venturing crew and I looked at two crews and didn't like either of them. The first one was lame and the second one was disrespectful and never followed through with anything.

So my dad -being scout master- talked to some guys and one of them is interested in leading a crew. So I went to the boyscout meeting today to talk to that guy and get a feel for what we wanted the crew to be like. I was pleasantly surprised that we have a LOT in common, expectations wise, and both agree Venturing should be high adventure - not bowling. So if everything goes the way he's planning it to go, then it'll be great. We just need four other members and some advisers. So he's gonna talk to some people and I'm supposed to talk to "all my girlfriends" (psshht) and we'll try to get it running in the next two months.

Yay!

My dad got a new job! DOUBLEYAY! We have the same end day so that works out conveniently well. :D (6 more days!!!!!11)

Friday is a picnic for school (AND THE MCR/LINKIN PARK/TONS OF BANDS CONCERT that Severance Hall is giving away tickets to!!!111 . T_T )
I learned about the concert... and since Im an employee I can enter my name in the drawing.
I think rock concert pwns school picnic. If I won, of course. Hate to count chickens before they hatch. Maybe I could smuggle in my camera. (-enter dramatic music-) GAH. NO COUNTING CHICKENS BEFORE THEY HATCH.
STOPPIT!

Saturday we are going to meet up with old friends and it's gonna be so much fun because I havent seen any of them in FOREVER. So I can't wait. Will take tons of pictures. :D

--------

Went to get my learners permit today!!! Got the paperwork and my card... Failed the stupid test. Gah! I hate failing tests. But I didnt know any of the stuff, Ihadnt studied, hadnt known there would be a test. I was freaking out 'cuz I thought they meant driving test and I was like "But i havent LEARNED anything yet!" but it was just on a computer. Did I mention that I failed? It was so stupid. Anyways, I can go back three more times I guess... then they consider me a lost cause and ban me from the face of Ohio. :P The road part anyways.

----------------
I've been thinking about lessons.
Because in January we get money from school for lessons.
And at first of course I wanted riding lessons.

And I got interested in dance.
And The Quipper was telling me the other day, if I don't want to do office work I better play the guitar, write songs and sing. :P Well I cant write songs to save my life, I missed out on the teen-angst/i-hate-the-world gene I guess. Darn. ;D
So there's always guitar if I decide I want a career in music - or just as a hobby. But it never hurts to have a back up right?

So anyways... I was leaning towards dance. I want to learn everything except tap. :P Been watching way too much "So You Think You Can Dance?".....
And it doesn't involve a $2,000+ animal, if I just wanted to dance...
Neither does music.

But I feel weird about suddenly switching from horses. Not exactly betrayal but... something weird. Because I *love* horses..... But...
Dance or guitar would be cheaper, meaning I could take more lessons. And closer, meaning less gas, and. So I'm just really confused.

I decided to just blurt everything into one big blog post so ;D
Thats my rant for today.

Brought to you by the letter E and the number 15.5 :)
